For sale is a beautiful hybrid wood block that will be suitable for mod making, knife handles, pen blanks etc. The wood used is Black Poplar Burr which has been stabilised by myself via the use of a vacuum chamber and stabilising resin. Once stabilised, the wood is mixed with coloured resins and placed into a pressure pot until the resin has cured. The end result is a gorgeous combination of natural wood burl and resin which will shimmer and shine once sanded and polished to a fine finish
The approximate dimensions of this block are as follows:-
Length - 100mm
Width - 56mm
Depth - 38mm
Please note - The block has been cut with an 80T saw and lightly sanded
